Come talk with me this week

I’ve got three events this week, and all three are a chance to grab a copy of the plan, take the community survey, and tell me what matters to you.

Family Art & Crafts. Tuesday, October 20, 6–8 PM, Make It Factory, 123 E College Ave. Free and come-and-go. Kids build Trick or Treat candy buckets, any age, with craft stations for young adults and grown folks too. Refreshments served.

Let’s Talk Ashburn. Wednesday, October 21, 8 PM, live on the James Burgess Leads Facebook page. A conversation with Councilman Sheldon Smith about our community, our priorities, and the road ahead. Bring your questions in the comments.

Candidate and Community Open Mic. Thursday, October 22, 6:30–9:30 PM, Make It Factory. Kelly Dawsey is confirmed, and every candidate on the ballot has been invited. Candidates go first, 5 minutes each, no debate, and they’ll be livestreamed. Then the mic belongs to the community: singers, poets, artists, anybody with something to say. Sign up at the door. Refreshments served.

To RSVP or ask for a ride, text 229-339-2476 or use the RSVP form on each event page.
