Sec. 38-232Outdoor water use schedule during non-drought periods
Needs a look
A resident can't tell from the code whether the watering schedule actually applies right now. See the fix
Plain English: what this chapter covers
This is the chapter for overgrown lots, junk cars, run-down houses and condemned buildings. It sets minimum standards for homes and rentals, like working plumbing, heat and hot water, and lays out how the city can take an owner to court, clean up or tear down a property, and put a lien on it. It also covers erosion control for land clearing and construction, protection zones around the city's water wells, and outdoor watering days.
Outdoor water use other than exempted activities shall occur only as follows:
(1) Odd-numbered addresses: Outdoor water use is allowed on Tuesdays, Thursday, and Sundays.
(2) Even-numbered addresses: Outdoor water use is allowed on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays.
(3) During declared drought conditions, outdoor water use, other than activities exempted in section 38-234 hereof, shall occur only during scheduled hours on the scheduled days.
