Sec. 62-9Provisions saved from repeal

Unchanged since the 2007 code

Needs a look

Residents can't read a law that is 'saved' but not printed in the code. See the fix

Plain English: what this chapter covers

This is the city's general 'don't do it' chapter. It covers firing guns, loitering, noise, fireworks, juvenile and park curfews, disorderly conduct, littering, false burglar alarms and abandoned shopping carts. Most violations go to Ashburn Municipal Court.

Ordinance number 93-005, adopted March 4, 1993, on the subject of disorderly conduct, is not repealed and shall continue in full force and effect pending a revision of the subject matter by the city.

This is a plain-English guide, not legal advice. The official code is on Municode and at City Hall. Our copy is from April 30, 2026.
