Plain English: what this chapter covers
This is the city's general 'don't do it' chapter. It covers firing guns, loitering, noise, fireworks, juvenile and park curfews, disorderly conduct, littering, false burglar alarms and abandoned shopping carts. Most violations go to Ashburn Municipal Court.
There shall be a curfew observed in city parks of the City of Ashburn from 10:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. during which time the parks shall not be open for public use unless authorized by the city manager. Provided, however, this curfew shall not apply to any event carried out or sanctioned by the city or authorized by the city manager.
