Residents could be ticketed under a city rule that no longer lines up with the state law the tickets depend on, for example on non-school weekdays or in summer. See the fix
Plain English: what this chapter covers
This chapter covers the everyday rules of the road in Ashburn. It adopts Georgia's Uniform Rules of the Road, sets speed zones, keeps big commercial trucks off residential streets except to make deliveries, and controls junk cars stored outside. It also lets residents drive golf carts ("motorized carts") on most city streets, and it sets up school-zone speed cameras along with how those tickets and appeals work.
Speed camera enforcement using automated traffic enforcement safety devices are hereby authorized within school zones in the City between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
