Tom Whitsett. Story Street. Projects. Elrod. The splash pad. The Tabernacle grounds. Six places that ought to be full and mostly aren't. And if you decide to start walking in this town, the sidewalk ends and you're on the shoulder with cars coming around the curve.
What the city actually controls
Parks, sidewalks, paths, lighting, garden and market sites, and which grants we chase. Not hospitals.
Turner County does not have a hospital, and no city councilman can bring one back. And buying a medical building hoping healthcare shows up in it is not a health plan either. A building is not a service.
