Plain English: what this chapter covers
This is the city's general 'don't do it' chapter. It covers firing guns, loitering, noise, fireworks, juvenile and park curfews, disorderly conduct, littering, false burglar alarms and abandoned shopping carts. Most violations go to Ashburn Municipal Court.
Any person violating any of the provisions of this article shall be deemed guilty of a and upon conviction thereof shall be fined an amount not to exceed $1,000.00 or imprisoned in the city jail for up to 180 days, or shall be punished by both such fine and such imprisonment. Each day such violation is committed or permitted to continue shall constitute a separate offense and shall be punishable as provided hereunder.
