Sec. 78-161Collection of E-911 charge on prepaid wireless transactions

Last changed 2011
Plain English: what this chapter covers

This chapter covers city property taxes: billing, due dates, interest, penalties, and what happens if they go unpaid, up to a tax sale. It also covers taxes on insurers, banks and hotel rooms, the monthly E-911 charge, and the 2022 Blighted Property Ordinance, which raises taxes on officially blighted, non-owner-occupied property and gives a tax break once it's fixed.

Prepaid wireless E-911 charges collected by sellers shall be remitted to the Commissioner of the Department of Revenue at the times and in the manner provided by tit. 48, ch. 8 with respect to the sales and use tax imposed on prepaid wireless calling service.
