Sec. 78-153[Assessment levied—Mobile home parks.]
Plain English: what this chapter covers
This chapter covers city property taxes: billing, due dates, interest, penalties, and what happens if they go unpaid, up to a tax sale. It also covers taxes on insurers, banks and hotel rooms, the monthly E-911 charge, and the 2022 Blighted Property Ordinance, which raises taxes on officially blighted, non-owner-occupied property and gives a tax break once it's fixed.
There is hereby levied a special assessment on each mobile home park and on each area designated by the owner or used by the owner for rental to or use by travel trailers and recreational vehicles, and on the owners thereof, and on the occupants of each space and on each mobile home, travel trailer and recreational vehicle located therein, and on the contents located therein, in the amount of $1.50 per month per space.
