Sec. 50-36Administration

Last changed 1993
Plain English: what this chapter covers

This chapter does two things. It adopts the state health rules for restaurants, motels, septic systems, drinking water and public pools by reference. It also sets up a 1,500-foot protection zone around each city water well, where things that could pollute the water, like septic tanks, fuel tanks and landfills, aren't allowed.

The policies and procedures for administration of any wellhead protection zone established under this article, including without limitation those applicable to , exceptions, enforcement and penalties, shall be the same as provided in the zoning for the city, as presently enacted or may from time to time be amended, appendix A to this volume.
